What a fantastic first date it was. She was gorgeous! She even let you give her a little peck on the cheek as you said goodnight.

The second date was even better. You chatted for ages and exchanged every detail of your life stories. And you got to kiss her on both cheeks.

On the third date, you talked about your work, and what she likes to spend her time doing. Clearly you have a lot in common. Wow that kiss on the lips was good!. Shame it didn't last longer.

Fourth date - we're just so compatible. Everything is going perfectly. Even the kiss at the end of the date. So romantic - it would have been nice to have found a little tongue though.

So there you are all ready groomed for your fifth date with this wonderful woman who has stolen your heart. You suspect that there is 'something in the air' and tonight might be the night you 'seal your relationship'.

You fool! You complete and utter fool!!

You are never going to have sex with this woman. And you know what? She decided that on the first date.

You're a 'nice guy'. She really does like you and she is very pleased to count you among her friends. Among her male friends, of which there are quite a few. All of them thinking that one day they'll get to have sex with this woman.

But none of them will. There are three reasons women collect male friends that they don't want to have sex with...

1. To do 'male type' jobs for her - fix her car, carry some stuff, tend her barbeque at a party.

2. To gain access to your male friends. Who knows, there might be someone hot among them.

3. Attention. Women love attention from men. It's almost as good as sex to them.

So at some point in your dating with a woman, you have to decide whether or not she wants you merely as a friend or whether things could go further.

And the way to do that is the 'kiss test' that I describe in detail on page 166 of my e-book, 'Online Dating Tips For Men'.

You need to try this test no later than date #2. You have to be bold and make a firm move - any sign of hesitation and you're history.

This is what might happen...

She might turn her head and it will turn into a kiss on the cheek. (That means no sex for you buddy - ever!)

She might let you kiss her on the lips (it won't happen by accident). But if she pulls back, then likewise she's not interested.

No, unless you get a proper full-on kiss on the second date, you are completely wasting your time.

Unless you just want to be a friend that is ;-)
