Although the federal government has put forth new legislation to prevent Government credit card abuse and blame much of the abuse on the Department of Defense, the reality of the situation is that there is fraud going on in all levels of government. It is happening at the municipal level, the county level, the state level and the abuse is ranted at the federal levels.

This is your fine folks in government at work the same government that is in charge of making our laws and policing the American people. If the government cannot handle its own widespread fraud and corruption in all agencies and it is obvious they should not be allowed to make the laws because they obviously believe they are above them.

We need to put any government worker from any agency in a jail if they violate the trust of the American people and fraudulently use government credit cards for personal use such as car washes, cruise vacations and drinking at the local watering hole.

It is amazing that the media and the legislatures have attacked the Department of Defense for misuse of credit cards when the reality of the situation is that this abuse goes on still today and every government agency including the Department of Justice.

Now how is that for a reality check? So much for truth, justice and the American way. It is unforgivable that people working in the FBI, SEC, IRS and Federal Trade Commission field that they can abuse government credit cards and steel taxpayers money. And indeed not a single one has done jail time for stealing money.

What kind of hypocrisy government is this? We need some answers here, as this issue is not going to go away simply because a few podium pushers made a new law. Let's start putting some of these government bureaucrats, a lawyer's and fine folks in government in jail for stealing. This is unacceptable. But hey, that's just my opinion, it's your money. Consider this in 2006.
