Global Project to End All Wars

Author: Lance Winslow

Believe it or not there is a global project to end all wars. Indeed, this is a rather interesting and noble calling, however it is obviously not been taken very seriously, as China and Russia sell high-tech weapons to Iran, Syria and the Palestinian authority now in control by Hamas. Many from academia stated the United States should stop starting wars and work with the United Nations and other friendly nations on 100 year project to in all human wars.

I do not disagree that stopping all wars of the human species is a good idea. However, I would like to point out that only one percent of the human population throughout recorded history has ever actually died in a war. And as much as I agree that war is bad, I also agree the government's number one job is to protect their people in that means defending their people, as well as their assets and their allies. The team that sticks together wins together.

It would be nice to prevent world war three through international decree and in effect making all wars the illegal, however you cannot negotiate with radical regimes or international terrorists and today these other groups causing the problem. Not the United States of America no matter what Al Jazeera says. So whereas, by too would like to stop all wars, humans on this planet are not grown-up enough to stop fighting in the sandbox without the help of a teacher monitoring how they play. Consider this a 2006.
