Microsoft VS Google in Search Engine Future

Author: Lance Winslow

We certainly are seeing some huge transitions in the area of Internet Search Engines as Google now flush with cash re-invents themselves into a money making endeavor to appease shareholders. As they expand and attempt to increase revenues in subsequent quarters we as Internet Surfers and users are seeing some new dynamics. We are seeing more ads, differences in search results and all sorts of new features, some of which seem as if they are funneling us more and more to click thru advertising or to websites with more ads to click on.

Some find this troubling and as far as information gathering and Internet Research it is loading up our realm with junk. For instance who cares if a search engine has 10 Billion web pages if half are utter crap? Microsoft is watching this trend and Bill Gate's understands that the surfing public is still looking for more. He intends to give them what they are wanting and a few more things that they may not even understand that they are missing. How will they do it? With better artificial intelligent based software, after all Microsoft is a software company, which spends billions every year in research and development. Also of interest to Microsoft is allowing all the different devices to better talk to each other, as this makes a lot of since because it was Microsoft, which standardized the PC operating systems and browser technologies.

It seems as if Microsoft has many market place competitors in each of their endeavors. Companies like Sun, Cisco, Nokia, Apple, Sony, Google, Yahoo, AOL and Microsoft is in a good position to bring all their knowledge and know how into one very user friendly system which will allow humans on the surface of the planet to stay fully connected and able to retrieve any human knowledge ever created, in any country, at any time from any device. Well, I say to you Mr. Bill Gate's bring it on, we are all waiting for just such a vision, so if this is your new Road Ahead or should I say Runway Ahead well then I can hardly wait for that future. Think on this.
